Playoff Possibilities

CHA

Niagara (at Alabama-Huntsville) has clinched a CHA Semifinal berth and the No. 1 seed in the tournament. The Purple Eagles will face either Wayne Stateor Alabama-Huntsville in the semifinals.

Bemidji State will face Robert Morris in the CHA Semifinals as the No. 2 seed.

Wayne State and Alabama-Huntsville will finish in fourth and fifth place — not necessarily in that order, depending on the Saturday's games — and will play in the CHA Quarterfinal game on March 9. Wayne State can clinch the No. 4 seed with a win.

Hockey East

New Hampshire (at Boston College) has clinched a home-ice berth and the Hockey East regular season title. They will host Providence in the Hockey East Quarterfinal round next weekend.

Boston College (vs. New Hampshire) has clinched a home-ice berth and will host Northeastern as the No. 2 seed.

Boston University has clinched a home-ice berth and will finish in third, hosting either Maine or Vermont.

Massachusetts (vs. Maine) has clinched a playoff berth and can clinch home-ice with a win or tie. The Minutemen would host either Maine or Vermont, or could travel to Maine.

Maine (at UMass) has clinched a playoff berth and can clinch home-ice with a win. The Black Bears would host UMass, or could travel to UMass or Boston University.

Vermont (vs. UMass-Lowell) has clinched a playoff berth. The Catamounts can clinch the No. 5 seed with a win and a Maine loss, and will travel to either UMass or Boston University.

Northeastern has clinched a playoff berth and will finish in seventh place, traveling to Boston College.

Providence (at Merrimack) has clinched a playoff berth and will travel to New Hampshire as the No. 8 seed.

Massachusetts-Lowell (at Vermont) has been eliminated from playoff contention and will finish ninth.

Merrimack (vs. Providence) has been eliminated from playoff contention and will finish in tenth.

WCHA

Minnesota (vs. Michigan Tech) has clinched home-ice for the first round of the WCHA tournament and the MacNaughton Cup. The Gophers will host Alaska-Anchorage in the first round.

St. Cloud State (vs. North Dakota) has clinched home-ice for the first round of the WCHA tournament and will host Minnesota-Duluth as the No. 2 seed.

Denver (at Colorado College) has clinched home-ice for the first round of the WCHA tournament, and can clinch the No. 3 seed with a win, or a tie and North Dakota loss or tie.

North Dakota (at St. Cloud State) has clinched home-ice for the first round of the WCHA tournament, and can clinch the No. 3 seed with a win and a Denver loss or tie.

Colorado College (vs. Denver) has clinched home-ice for the first round of the WCHA tournament and can clinch the No. 3 seed with a win and a North Dakota loss or tie.

Wisconsin (at Minnesota-Duluth) can clinch the No. 6 seed with a win, or a tie and a Michigan Tech loss. The Badgers will travel to either Denver, North Dakota, or Colorado College.

Minnesota State has completed the regular season with 25 points and will finish in either seventh or eighth place. The Mavericks will be the No. 7 seed with a Michigan Tech loss.

Michigan Tech (at Minnesota) can clinch the No. 6 seed with a win and a Wisconsin loss or tie.

Minnesota-Duluth (vs. Wisconsin) will finish in ninth place and will travel to St. Cloud State.

Alaska-Anchorage will finish in tenth place and will travel to Minnesota.
