Sliver of New Insight in BC Suspensions

Boston College has remained predictably mum on the indefinite suspensions of Brett Motherwell and Brian O'Hanley, which came down after the team's first game of the season, playing at the Icebreaker in Minnesota.
Motherwell has since left the school and signed an Amateur Tryout Agreement with Syracuse of the American Hockey League.
However, providing a sliver of new insight Friday, BC head coach Jerry York said, "The punishments wouldn't be so severe if it was just a curfew violation"
"They were suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules," York added, repeating all that had been previously said.
According to sources, drugs were not involved. However, the incident does appear to be more serious than curfew violation, as had been previously reported.
O'Hanley remains in school and taking classes.
