Maine Freshman Reinstated

Maine red-shirt freshman Nick Payson can rejoin the team after being exonerated of an aggravated assault charge filed in January.
A thorough university investigation determined that Payson was responding to the alleged victim's initial aggression.
Payson can begin practicing with the team again, and can start playing in the fall.
"I have to be smarter about the choices I make. You're accountable for your actions," said Payson to the Bangor Daily News.
