Zatkoff Signs Three-Year Deal with Kings

Miami junior goaltender Jeff Zatkoff has signed a three-year entry-level contract with the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, the club announced today.

Zatkoff finished his junior season with a 27-8-1 record and led the CCHA with a 1.72 goals-against average and .933 save percentage. The Chesterfield, Mich., native went 55-21-5 in his three year career at Miami.

Zatkoff was selected by the Kings in the third round (74th overall) of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.

This season, the Redhawks finished second in the CCHA and fell to Boston College in overtime in the NCAA Northeast Regional final on Mar. 30.
