Dartmouth Sophomore Arrested in Minneapolis
CHN Staff Report
Dartmouth sophomore forward Adam Estoclet has been arrested after Minneapolis police said he broke into a residence in an attempt to flee the officers.
Estoclet, who scored three goals and four assists in 32 games as a freshman, was seen with 19-year old friend Daniel Ellis in southeast Minneapolis just after 2 a.m. Wednesday night, stumbling across the street. According to KSTP, an ABC News affiliate in Minneapolis, the two began to run when police attempted to stop them.
Explained Minneapolis Police Sgt. Jesse Garcia, "When Estoclet ran away, he ran into someone's house, broke in, went up into a female's room and went inside her room while she was sleeping."
Police added that Estoclet grabbed the woman's cell phone and ran away before being apprehended a short time later, when Estoclet's mother helped turned him in to the police.
Estoclet was booked into the Hennepin County Jail for 12 hours on suspicion of felony burglary, fleeing police, and minor consumption of alcohol. He posted $50,000 bond and was subsequently released.
