Harvard's Richter to Miss Season

CHN Staff Report

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Harvard goaltender Kyle Richter has decided to sit out the entire 2008-09 season. In fact, he has left the school for the year due to "personal reasons," according to Harvard.

Last year, as a sophomore, Richter factored into all 34 decisions for the Crimson, going 17-13-4 with a 2.19 goals against average and .923 save percentage.

No one else on the roster has started a game for Harvard.

According to coach Ted Donato, Richter is expected to return in 2009-10.
