Brown Loses Another Player

CHN Staff Report

Brown freshman Mike Griffin has decided to quit the team, becoming the third freshman to do so this season.

One player left before the season started, and was followed by Garrett Noiles, who played one game. Griffin, a 6-foot-4, 200-pound forward, played eight games and had two assists.

It's the continuation of another trying year for the Bears, who had a 1-12-4 record. The team had win totals of 5, 11 and 6 the last three years. The previous three years, Brown had a winning record with Hobey Baker Award finalist Yann Danis in net.

Head coach Roher Grillo is in his 12th season at the helm.
