Miami, Michigan, OSU Land 2 Each on All-Rookie Team

CHN Staff Report

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Miami , Michigan and Ohio State each had two players named to the 2009 CCHA All-Rookie Team. Notre Dame was the only other school to have a player selected to the team. This marks the 21st year that the conference has named an all-rookie team and, because of a tie in voting at the defenseman position, there are seven members on the squad for the sixth time.

Determined by a vote of the conference’s head coaches, the team will be honored at the 2009 CCHA Awards on Thursday, March 19, at the Fox Theatre in Detroit.
