Maine Goalie Suspended After Arrest

ORONO, Maine — Maine goalie Dave Wilson has been suspended from the team following his arrest on domestic assault charges. According to police, Wilson is alleged to have attacked his former girlfriend in an Orono bar.

Wilson is accused of grabbing the woman by the neck and pulling her back as she tried to walk away. The incident took place April 2. After the woman filed a complaint, Wilson was arrested at his apartment. He has a May 28 court date in Bangor, Maine.

Wilson, a junior from Caledon East, Ontario, played in 14 games last season, and had a 2.82 goals-against average.
