CCHA Suspends LSSU's Acton

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — The CCHA has suspended junior forward Will Acton of Lake Superior for one game, under the league’s supplemental discipline process, as the result of an incident that occurred in the game against Notre Dame on Jan. 22.
The action was taken by the league after a review of an incident that occurred near the 11:28 mark of the second period and resulted in the player receiving a major penalty for charging.
Acton is ineligible to play in Lake Superior State’s next game, Jan. 23, against Notre Dame. He is eligible to return to the lineup on Feb. 5. Lake Superior State is idle Jan. 29-30.
