Two Notre Dame Players Arrested

CHN Staff Report

College hockey has seen its second offseason 'bad-boy' incident already, following Sunday's arrest of two Notre Dame players.

The previous night, three Boston College players were among seven students involved in a traffic accident that may have included alcohol.

Meanwhile, according to police reports, Kyle Palmieri, 19, and Riley Sheahan, 18, were arrested after a police officer saw them and another person standing in the bed of a moving pickup truck about 2:30 a.m.

Sheahan, from St. Catharine's, Ontario, had six goals and 17 points in 37 games.

Palmieri, from Montvale, N.J., by way of the U.S. National Program, had nine goals and 17 points in 33 games, and was a team-worst minus-20.
