North Dakota's Kristo Out with Frostbite
CHN Staff Report
North Dakota forward Danny Kristo will be out indefinitely after sustaining frostbite on the toes of his right foot, it was reported today in the Grand Forks Herald.
Kristo was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minn., after incurring the frostbite while walking on campus Sunday.
“We have been in close contact with Danny’s family,” UND coach Dave Hakstol said to the Herald. “My concern is with Danny’s health and his full recovery.”
Kristo, the 2010 WCHA rookie of the year, has 22 points in 29 games this season, including three assists in a 6-0 win over Colorado College on Saturday.
