The ECAC has agreed to move its postseason tournament back to Lake Placid, its home from 1993-2002, College Hockey News has learned.
The league has one more season left on a 3-year deal with Atlantic City, meaning the first tournament back in Lake Placid will be March 2014.
The official announcement will come at a news conference Tuesday at the Olympic Center, famed home of the 1980 and 1932 Winter Olympics. Lake Placid won out in a tight vote that included Providence and Albany.
