NMU's Thurber Suspended One Game
CHN Staff Report
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. The CCHA suspended Northern Michigan senior forward Matt Thurber for one game under the league’s supplemental discipline process. The action stems from an incident that occurred in a game against Ohio State on Friday.
The action was taken by the league after a review of an incident that occurred 54 seconds into the game. The review showed Thurber player delivering an illegal hit to the head of an Ohio State player.
Thurber is ineligible to play in Northern Michigan’s game tonight, November 17, against Ohio State. He is eligible to return to the lineup on November 23.
