Cisse Leaves Boston University
CHN Staff Report
BOSTON Redshirt sophomore forward Yasin Cisse has left Boston University. Cisse played in all 13 games for the Terriers this season, assisting on two goals in that time.
Cisse, a Westmount, Quebec, native, returned to full action last year for the first time in two seasons after a pair of ankle injuries sidelined him for his final year in the USHL and first season at BU. A release from BU said Cisse will return to Canada to pursue his hockey career.
In 39 career games with BU, Cisse scored two goals and recorded five assists. He was a fifth-round draft choice of the Atlanta Thrashers, now the Winnipeg Jets, in 2010.
Sources suggest he will likely head to the QMJHL. Cisse was a fifth-round draft pick of the Moncton Wildcats in 2008.
