Providence's Cross Leaves School
CHN Staff Report
Providence redshirt sophomore forward Damian Cross has left school, according to the Providence Journal. Cross played all 38 games last season, registering four goals and 12 assists, but has dressed for just one game this year.
Cross arrived at Providence as a promising player, as he led the Central Canada Hockey League in scoring in 2009-10 and was named the league's most outstanding player. But then Cross played just five games in his first year at Providence before redshirting the rest of the season with a knee injury.
It is unknown at this time where Cross will play next.
