UNO Adds Todd to Round Out Staff

Castleton State Head Coach to Replace Departed Johnson

CHN Staff Report

Nebraska-Omaha has hired Castleton State (Vt.) coach Alex Todd to replace departed assistant coach Steve Johnson, according to Bucky's 5th Quarter.

Johnson left UNO in May after one season as an assistant to coach Dean Blais. Todd spent eight seasons as the leader of Castleton State's Division III program, winning 114 games in that time.

As a player, Todd spent four years as a defenseman for Union. Prior to taking the head job at Castleton State, Todd spent a season as a coach for Utica College. The move to UNO is his first Division I coaching experience.
