Polesello Leaves Vermont for OHL

CHN Staff Report

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Vermont sophomore forward Robert Polesello has left the program to play for Kingston in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Head coach Kevin Sneddon made the announcement of Polesello's departure on Tuesday.

"I wish Mr. Polesello the best of luck as he pursues this option," Sneddon said, "and thank him for his contribution to UVM hockey while attending our University."

Last year as a freshman, the Bolton, Ontario, native led all UVM rookies and was tied for fifth on the team in scoring with 13 points in 35 games.

This year, playing five of the team's seven games, Polesello was tied for second on the team in goals (2) and points (4), and had a plus-5 rating and 10 shots on goal.
