BU's Keller Out 'Long Term'

CHN Staff Report

Boston University forward Clayton Keller will be out "long term" with a lower body injury, coach David Quinn told WTBU today. It was not specified what that meant, and Quinn said the team would take it week by week.

The freshman Keller, who was a first-round pick of the Arizona Coyotes in last June's NHL Draft, was off to a strong start to his college career. The US National Team product has five goals and nine points so far this year, including two shorthanded goals and a plus-3 rating.

Keller was injured in Saturday's BU win over Northeastern, a game in which he had two assists. In Friday's game against the Huskies, Keller scored twice.
