Ohio State's Healey Suspended For NCAA Regionals

3rd Suspension This Year For Senior

CHN Staff Report

ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Big Ten has handed down a suspension to Ohio State defenseman Josh Healey, the third suspension this season.

Healey received an automatic one-game suspension for receiving his third game misconduct of the season during Ohio State's semifinal loss at the Big Ten tournament Friday. The Big Ten then added an additional game.

Healey is Ohio State's top defenseman. A 6-foot native of Edmonton, he has 4-21—25 this season with a plus-17 rating.

Healey will miss Ohio State's NCAA tournament game this weekend against Minnesota-Duluth, and the Regional Final if OSU wins.

Healey was also suspended games last year by the Big Ten for major penalties.
