2009-08-10 ... Bowling Green coach Dennis Williams has added former Brown assistant Scott Stirling to his staff. Despite a 5-23-5 season for the Bears, Stirling helped guide goalie Mike Clemente to a respectable season including a .930 save percentage and a 2.67 GAA mark with over 675 saves as a freshman. “He (Stirling) is more knowledgeable than a goalie guy,” says Williams. “He knows the game. He knows the X’s and O’s too. I’m confident he can step in and gain the respect from our forwards and D.”
