BC Players Involved in Accident

CHN Staff Report

BOSTON — Boston College freshmen Philip Samuelsson, Parker Milner and Patrick Wey were involved in an SUV accident with a Green Line train, and could be facing alcohole-related charges, according to several Boston-area news reports.

The players, along with four other minors in the car, are being investigated by Boston police, the reports said. The incident happened around midnight Saturday.

The driver was a 19-year old female. Police said vodka was found in the car, according to reports.

The operator of the train said that three teens fled the accident with what appeared to be alcoholic beverages. Four of the seven involved were treated at St. Elizabeth’s hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

MBTA officials said they would seek restitution for damages of the train and the cost of running buses while the route was out of service.

All three are members of the Eagles' teams that just won the national championship earlier this month, though Wey missed the postseason with an illness, and the goaltender Milner didn't play any NCAA games.
