Cisse Leaves Boston University

CHN Staff Report

BOSTON — Redshirt sophomore forward Yasin Cisse has left Boston University. Cisse played in all 13 games for the Terriers this season, assisting on two goals in that time.

Cisse, a Westmount, Quebec, native, returned to full action last year for the first time in two seasons after a pair of ankle injuries sidelined him for his final year in the USHL and first season at BU. A release from BU said Cisse will return to Canada to pursue his hockey career.

In 39 career games with BU, Cisse scored two goals and recorded five assists. He was a fifth-round draft choice of the Atlanta Thrashers, now the Winnipeg Jets, in 2010.

Sources suggest he will likely head to the QMJHL. Cisse was a fifth-round draft pick of the Moncton Wildcats in 2008.
