Former Maine Coach Hired as Prep Coach

CHN Staff Report

Former Maine head coach Tim Whitehead will be announced as the next head coach at Kimball Union Academy, according to sources.

Kimball Union is a private prep school in Meriden, New Hampshire.

Whitehead was relieved of his duties at Maine in April and Red Gendron was hired as his replacement last month. At KUA, Whitehead will take over a team that boasts two Division 1 commits in JD Dudek (Boston College) as well as AJ Greer, who is headed to Penn State.

The Kimball Union job opened up after Mike Levine resigned to take an assistant position on Brendan Whittet's staff at Brown.
