Gostisbehere Hurt in Union Win

CHN Staff Report

Union junior defenseman Shayne Gostisbehere was hurt in the team's 3-0 win over Princeton on Saturday, and could miss some time.

Gostisbehere was injured in the first period when he took a hit to the boards from Princeton's Ryan Siiro. He tried to play one more shift, but then never returned.

Union was unable to say how much time Gostisbehere would miss.

"We'll just have to wait and see how he feels tomorrow, and go from there," Union coach Rick Bennett told the Schenectady Gazette.

Gostisbehere is a third-round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2012 NHL draft. He has six goals and 10 assists in 20 games this season.
