St. Cloud's Benik Out 'A While'

CHN Staff Report

St. Cloud State sophomore wing Joey Benik did not play Saturday after getting injured in Friday's win against Denver.

According to the St. Cloud Times, Huskies coach Bob Motzko said Benik will be "out for a while. We'll know more Monday." The team is calling it an upper body injury.

Benik was hurt when he was hit into the boards by a Denver player after St. Cloud scored its first goal of the game.

Benik, who missed a large portion of the beginning of his freshman year with a broken leg, has five goals and 13 points in 17 games this season.
