Top Uncommitted Miles Wood Chooses BC

CHN Staff Report

Miles Wood, a top-'95 forward, has committed to Boston College.

Wood was committed to Brown, where his brother Tyler is a freshman defenseman. Last month, both Wood and goaltender Blake Weyrick decommitted from Brown within a few days.

Wood was a fourth-round pick of the New Jersey Devils in last year's NHL Entry Draft. He's currently a junior at Noble and Greenough, but could accelerate to join BC this coming fall.

His father, Randy, graduated from Yale and played 741 games in the National Hockey League, starting with the New York Islanders.

According to multiple sources, Wood's decision came down to Boston College and Boston University.
