Denver Pair Tops All-NCHC Teams

Denver led the way with two players named to the inaugural NCHC All-Conference First Team, announced today.

Despite a disappointing sixth-place finish, senior goaltender Sam Brittain and junior defenseman Joey LaLeggia were named.

Miami, which finished last in the regular season, had forwards Austin Czarnik on the First Team and Riley Barber on the Second Team.

Josh Archibald, whose 29 goals is second in the nation behind Boston College's Johnny Gaudreau, along with St. Cloud State's Nic Dowd were the other First Team forwards.

Meanwhile, North Dakota senior captain Dillon Simpson joined LaLeggia on the backline.
